This website is run by GotchaCovered Plumbing, based in Corinella, Victoria. This page explains what information the website collects, why, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal language.

When you contact us through the website

If you fill in the quote form, we collect the details you enter: your first and last name, phone number, email address, and whatever you write in the message box. We use these only to respond to your enquiry and to carry out any work you ask us to do.

Form submissions are delivered to us by email through a service called Web3Forms, which passes the message on to info@gotchacoveredplumbing.com.au. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to any marketing list without asking you first.

When you simply visit the website

When someone opens this website, we receive an automatic notification that a visit has happened. That notification includes an approximate location — usually the nearest city or region — along with which page was opened and, if you arrived by clicking a link, which website you came from.

The location is worked out from your internet connection by our hosting provider, Cloudflare. It is approximate and area-level. It is not your street address and it is not taken from your device's GPS.

We do not store your IP address, we do not use tracking cookies, and there is no third-party analytics or advertising code running on this site. The notification is sent to us as an email and is not saved to any database.

How long we keep things

Enquiries stay in our email account so we have a record of jobs and quotes. Visit notifications are just emails and are deleted as they are cleared out.

You are welcome to contact us by phone instead of using the form — call or text0403 429 810. If you would like to know what information we hold about you, or want it deleted, emailinfo@gotchacoveredplumbing.com.au and we will sort it out.
